As Warren Buffett once said, “It takes 20 years to build a reputation and five minutes to ruin it.” According to recent research[1,2] reputation represents more than 20% of the company value. Reputation risk has become the number one strategic business risk in our VUCA world (cyberattacks, product recalls, and damaging social media posts etc.) => Therefore Boards must actively oversee it as part of their mandate Our panel will share their experience in preventing and managing reputation risks; the role of the board and the one of the executives; concrete example and take aways to prevent and weather the storm.
