In 1996, Xerox Europe Ltd.’s environmental group adopts the slogan “The only thing we leave with our customers is – the Document!”. In spite of Xerox’s commitment to protecting the environment, their take-back policy met with some negative customer feedback as well as internal resistance from various divisions.
