This two-part case deals with an international food company, Mampf Foods, faced with the problem of using controversial genetically engineered crops. In the (A) case, a policy statement on this issue has been requested by GreenEarth, an environmental organization heading opposition to its use. Background information about the new technology and its problematic reception in Europe is given as an aid to policy formation.
