14 pages
December 2005
Reference: IMD-3-1556

Privatization and governance reforms have been taking place in many Eastern European countries, especially those joining the EU. Professionalization of corporate governance is a required process in order to attract foreign investors, ensure compliance in a changing legal environment, and to enable clear value-added at the board level.
