Managing a Dutch-Chinese joint venture: Where to start?

After the state partly privatized Dhangtu Beer, the Dutch company Global Beverage bought a large stake in the company. Nevertheless the Chinese state still owned a considerable amount of shares and had too much influence – at least in Jan van der Werde’s opinion. He was responsible for making Dhangtu beer a successful undertaking for Global Beverage.
