The (C) case describes how cross-functional team building processes can overcome functional barriers in an organization, and were an effective means of sustaining change processes at Ljubljanska Banka. The strategic options facing the Bank are also considered. The case enables discussion of the importance of determining appropriate change objectives, designing new contracts to lock in commitment, involving foreign advisors in an effective way in change processes, and linking changes to strategic issues.
