The IMD Executive MBA is a modular program with multiple starting points, giving you the flexibility to choose the format and timing that works best for you.
Modular-Flex gives you control over the duration and timing of your learning journey. This option lets you choose between Foundations for Business Leadership (4 start dates per year) or Global Management Foundations ( 2 start dates per year), followed by Advanced Management Concepts (3 sessions to choose from). You will then proceed to the Mastery Stage. You may earn your EMBA degree in 18 months with modules completed back-to-back, or take up to 48 months if you pause between modules; the choice is yours, allowing you to harmonize your continuing development with your other commitments.
*With multiple starting dates to choose from, Modular-flex has a rolling admissions process. Classes can fill up in advance, so early application is advised.
Elective-Flex empowers you to shape your learning experience through content flexibility. It has one starting date per year and a rich portfolio of electives and global experiences for you to choose from, tailoring your learning journey to match your specific interests and career goals. It’s perfect for those who want to dive deep into chosen areas of expertise and complete it within a 14–18 month timeframe.
Fees and expenses
The total tuition fee for the program is CHF 125,000.

*Tuition, teaching materials, coffee breaks and weekday lunch while on the IMD Lausanne campus are included in the fees. All fees quoted are exclusive of any value-added or other indirect taxes that may be due in any country. IMD reserves the right to modify the program dates, location, and fee at any time.

**Based on a reasonable estimate of air fares considering Geneva as the point of departure, but are subject to fluctuations either way, considering standard and class of travel, departure airport and any traveller loyalty arrangements that might apply.
**During global immersion modules all participants must stay in the same hotel as designated by IMD. The EMBA program actively negotiates favorable packages for room rates and the use of the meeting facilities on-site. This is also critically important for the effective delivery of the program.
Financing options
IMD’s Executive MBA program does not offer any direct financial aid or scholarships. We can work with you to create flexible or staggered tuition payment plans to fit your requirements.
