Howard Yu is the LEGO professor of management and innovation and the director of the center for future readiness. He is the author of LEAP: How to Thrive in a World Where Everything Can Be Copied (PublicAffairs; June 2018).

Jialu Shan
Research fellow

Jialu Shan is a research fellow, her primary areas of interest are digital transformation and digital business models, as well as technological innovation, with a particular focus on Asian market. She obtained her PhD degree in Economics (management) from the Faculty of Business and Economics at the University of Lausanne (HEC, Lausanne) in 2012.

Lawrence Tempel
Research assistant

Lawrence Tempel graduated with a Master’s degree in International Business and is now a research assistant at IMD’s Center for Future Readiness. His interests for innovation, future trends and analytics drives his everyday work at the center.

Alexandre Sonderegger
Junior Data scientist

Alexandre Sonderegger graduated with a Master of Science in Economics from the University of Geneva where he specialized in Econometrics. His interests in programming and quantitative analysis led him to also specialize in Data Science.  As a Junior Data scientist at IMD’s Center for Future Readiness, he aspires to leverage his knowledge to help the team uncover valuable insights.

Angelo Boutalikakis
External advisor

Angelo Boutalikakis is an external advisor at the Center for Future Readiness at IMD and a senior consultant at McKinsey & Company. He holds a B.A. and an M.A. from the University of St. Gallen and a PhD from the University of Passau. After working on establishing the Center for Future Readiness and the Future Readiness Indicator as a Research Associate, he is now an external advisor at the center.
