Managing performance at Haier (B)
With Haier’s expansion to the US, the vase presents some local adaptations to Haier’s performance management system. The case raises the issue of whether the essential pronciples of Haier’s performance management system can be transferred to the US, and by inference, othe countries. Students are asked to consider in general how some of the key concepts may be adapted.
